New Marimurtra website: a more intuitive digital experience in constant evolution

The Marimurtra Botanical Garden launches its new website. A renovation that goes beyond visual appearance and responds to a clear desire: to offer a more intuitive, coherent, and useful digital experience for everyone who wants to discover the garden, prepare for their visit, or deepen their botanical knowledge.

A more polished and coherent image
One of the most visible changes is the renewal of the visual identity. The new website incorporates a revision of colors, typography, and graphic elements that reinforce Marimurtra’s character and consolidate a more defined visual line. This work has allowed for a more precise and consistent style guide, aligned with the garden’s values: scientific rigor, landscape sensitivity, and a commitment to dissemination.
This new visual line not only brings beauty but also clarity and consistency to all content.

More intuitive navigation
The renovation has focused particularly on improving usability. Menus have been redesigned, pages reorganized, and navigation paths simplified to facilitate access to information.
The goal has been to put the user at the center: making it easier to plan a visit, access activities, check schedules, or discover the garden’s content in an agile and natural way.
This new structure allows for more fluid and efficient navigation, adapted for both mobile and desktop devices.

Unification of content and areas of work
The new website has also been an opportunity to integrate and bring coherence to Marimurtra’s different areas of work. Content such as the museum, visit itineraries, or educational proposals have been reorganized under the same logic, making them more accessible and understandable.
This unification reinforces the idea of Marimurtra as a unique space where research, conservation, dissemination, and the visitor experience coexist.

A living website, just like the garden
Despite this renovation, the website is not a finished project. Just as the Marimurtra Botanical Garden constantly evolves throughout the seasons, its website will do so too.
We will continue working to expand content, improve features, and adapt to users’ needs. Because we understand the website as a living space, in continuous growth, that accompanies and reflects the reality of the garden.
We invite you to explore it and rediscover Marimurtra from the digital environment as well.
