At the Marimurtra Botanical Garden, we believe that gardening can play an important role in addressing current environmental challenges. Therefore, we are pleased to share with you the recent publication of the “Environmentalization Guide for the Mediterranean Resilient Garden”, a key document to understand how green spaces can contribute to sustainability and biodiversity preservation.
This guide, prepared by Pere Fraga, Jorge Muñiz and Mercè Trias, offers a comprehensive reference framework for designing, managing, and supporting Mediterranean gardens with sustainability criteria. One of its co-authors, Pere Fraga, in addition to being a botanical researcher, is the botanical curator of the Marimurtra Botanical Garden.
