Before the visit

Before visiting Marimurtra, we want you to have all the necessary information to plan your visit with peace of mind.

On this page you will find information about access, available services, accessibility resources and documents that will help you prepare your visit according to your needs.

The main entrance is at Passeig de Carles Faust, 9, Blanes.

In front of the entrance there is a reserved area to facilitate the acces of people with reduced mobility.

There is also parking nearby in the Cala Sant Francesc area.

Marimurtra has a map with the recommended itinerary to facilitate the visit. The map indicates the degree of slope of the paths and allows you to identify the most accessible areas of the garden.

  • The Temple is accessible following the recommended itinerary.
  • The Pergola is the only space that is only accessible by stairs.

Information and signage elements

Along the route, you will find several information points marked with QR codes, which allow you to access digital content in various formats:

  • 50 remarkable specimens of the garden, with data sheets available in audio, text and image.

  • Medicinal plants itinerary, also with explanatory QR codes with text.

  • Nomad blackboards, which include descriptive texts accessible via QR.

  • Maps inside the garden with additional information available via QR.

All this content is designed to facilitate understanding and accessibility and can be accessed with your mobile device.

At Marimurtra we offer an activity designed for groups with specific needs: the guided activity “Marimurtra diversa”, an experience designed to adapt to each group and its characteristics.

This visit is conducted with prior reservation, and allows a personalized approach to the garden, ensuring a comfortable, pleasant and enriching visit.

Pricing policy

The Marimurtra Botanical Garden is managed by a private non-profit foundation that is mainly funded through ticket sales.

We do not offer specific discounts for people with disabilities, but we do offer special prices for groups with disabilities with prior reservation.

With each ticket, you contribute directly to the sustainability of the project and the conservation of the garden.
