It is a plant that hardly needs soil to grow. It does this with the humidity of the air.
It is formed from a rosette of leaves. When it grows, it creates a stem about 20 centimeters long, from which the flower will emerge.
The flowers are deep blue and the plant uses all its energy to produce them. When the flower is fertilized and the seed matures, the stem falls from the plant. Thus, the seeds are spread.
From these stems that have fallen, new plants can emerge.
Throughout the garden you can find around 30 specimens, in the trunks and branches of the trees. The specimen that hangs from one of the branches of the Monterey Cypress, in the area of the well, stands out.
