Marimurtra’s specimens

You can find two majestic specimens: one next to the well square, about 7 metres high and 6 metres wide, and the other at the top of the palm grove.

Did you know that…?

It is the national tree of Argentina and Uruguay. It attracts many insects and birds that pollinate the flowers by collecting pollen. Its seeds are toxic if eaten, and the bark is used in medicinal baths.
