The Tillandsia bergueri<\/strong><\/em>, better known by its common name \u201cair carnation\u201d, is an epiphytic plant of the bromeliad family. Epiphytic <\/strong>plants grow on other plants, without being parasites. Instead of extracting nutrients from the plant they are on, they obtain water and nutrients from the air from a privileged position. <\/p>
