The rains of recent days have restored water levels

The rains collected in recent days have favored the recovery of water levels and the stagnation of the drought situation suffered last year.

So far this year – from January to June – 310.6 mm of water have been collected in the rain gauges located in Marimurtra. May has been the month that recorded the maximum rainfall this 2024, with more than 100 mm collected, that is, 33% of the rainfall in 2024 has fallen during the month of May. For this reason, although we are coming from a drought season, this year normal rainfall is being collected for our Mediterranean climate, which is approximately 600 mm per year.

In 2023, 355 mm of rain was collected in the Garden and in 2022 a total of 510 mm. You can consult this and other meteorological data on the website  www.marimurtra.cat/meteo
