Marimurtra has added two new ‘Nomadic Blackboards’ with information so that visitors can expand their knowledge during their tour. This is a set of blackboards that change location and information according to the time of year.
On the one hand, the ‘100 years of Marimurtra and the 150th anniversary of Carl Faust’ blackboard has been added, which shows the most outstanding events in the history of the Garden in a timeline.

The ‘Jungle and the Desert’ board has also been added, showing the differences between two completely opposite habitats that are very close to the Garden, along with the strategies that the plants have that allow them to live there.

The Nomad Blackboard Project is an innovative initiative that was launched in 2023 with the aim of facilitating science education, highlighting the importance of biodiversity, fostering curiosity and forging meaningful connections between visitors and the natural world.
The two new blackboards join those already on the tiger mosquito and cycads.
