Make your movie in Marimurtra Botanical Garden

Children’s workshop on cinema and abstract animation at the Marimurtra Botanical Garden (October 9 | 10.00 am to 2.00 pm)

If your children have skills and talent for images … if your children have an artist inside and if they are between 7 and 12 years old, we propose an abstract creation workshop to experiment, discover and express their concerns.

The proposal of this activity guided by prestigious visual artists, is to create a collective video that will participate in the forthcoming Punto y Raya Junior Festival on October 22nd and 23rd. An excellent way to discover the shapes, textures and colors that nature hides and that you can find in Marimurtra.

The, the aim of the activity is to create a collaborative video between all the members of the group that will take part in the final of the Punto y Raya Junior Festival on October 22nd and 23rd in Poland. Therefore, in Marimurtra we will discover different patterns, shapes and colors and from the exploration of this diversity that nature offers us, children will capture images and together, with the help of an expert, they will create audiovisual resources. .This workshop will be directed by the plastic artist Anita Garcia and will consist of two parts:

  1. Exploration of abstract forms in the Marimurtra Botanical Garden and collection of images
  2. Work and reflection on the collected images

There will be a short stop between the two parties to have something for breakfast. (Registration for the workshop includes the breakfast of the participating child).

What material will be needed? It is recommended that the participating children bring a tablet or mobile phone with a camera so that they can take pictures and comment on them in groups.

Participants can be part of the workshop accompanied by parents or alone. The dynamics are thought of in both cases. The registration price includes, in any case, the ticket for the girl or boy participating and the companions (maximum 2) who want to participate in the workshop.
