Activities at the Marimurtra Botanical Garden

Scientific Outreach Activities 2024 at the Marimurtra Botanical Garden

The Carl Faust Foundation, responsible and owner of the Marimurtra Botanical Garden, presents an annual program of scientific dissemination activities. A program that has been created by the Marimurtra technical teams with a double criterion: on the one hand, to make an attractive and interesting proposal to audiences of different technical levels and botanical knowledge, and on the other, to provide coverage to different topics of interest related to the founding aims of the Carl Faust Foundation, which are essentially concern for the environment, science, botany and gardening.

  • YOGA IN MARIMURTRA

 Yoga in Marimurtra

The Marimurtra Botanical Garden hosts yoga sessions with yogini Cristina Ishwari Yoga in this unique natural environment.

Yoga is an ancestral practice that allows us to achieve a state of inner peace and become aware of our body and our mind. The benefits of this age-old practice are well known for alleviating muscle and emotional tension.

Performing a yoga session is opening a parenthesis within busy everyday life to give permission for rest and relaxation. In addition, doing it in the Marimurtra Botanical Garden still makes it a fuller and more enriching experience. The space conveys peace and tranquility while enjoying the harmonious sounds of the sea and nature.
